ABOUT DIANA

Diana is a licensed massage therapist of 25 years, trained counselor, and educator who is passionate about the possibilities of emotional and physical healing through bodywork. Her style of therapy is influenced by John Barnes MFR approach and John Upledger craniosacral therapy, CST. The underlying skill of deep connection through sustained light touch while in a state of stillness pervades all the individual techniques to be learned.

ABOUT LIBBA

Libba Harmon is a licensed acupuncturist of 24-years, and a yoga instructor and energy worker. Her ongoing studies in movement and healing modalities, and her background in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine brought her to teaching. Libba’s classes are a mix of stimulating conversation, practical hands-on demonstration and mentoring, with a relaxed, real-life approach to learning; encouraging students to find their own hidden gifts. Fascia is the anatomical reveal of the meridians and channels, which carry electromagnetic current (life-force, or “Qi”) throughout the body. Gua Sha is an ancient Chinese healing method that was originally a home-remedy, and was eventually brought into clinical treatment protocols in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. In this workshop, we will explore the simple and effective techniques and theories of Gua Sha, as well as some more modern approaches to this ancient healing modality. It’s going to be so fun!
